The first climax of the day was the school invitational relay.
This year, we were pleased to have invited the Hong Kong International
School, Diocesan Boys' School. La Salle College, Wah Yan College (Hong
Kong) and South Island School to our event. The race ended with HKIS edging
out the other four schools and emerging as victor.
The next climax was the impromptu staff, parents and students mixed
4x50m freestyle race. All the students were delighted at the strange sight
of their teachers ib their swimming costumes. The team consisting of Mr.
R Chiu, Mr. M. F. Cheung, Ms. E. Chia and Mr. C. K. Tse eventually emerged
as the champion of this race.

After the staff, parents and students mixed race, it was time for the
prizes presentation ceremony. This year, we were most honoured to have
Mr. Ray Codeiro, affectionately known as 'Uncle Ray', as our guess of honour.
The winners certainly looked proud when they were presented with medals,
and both cameras and medals flashed in the bright sunlight.
The swimming gala officially ended at 1:00pm, and many of the boys
felt it was a pity that the exciting event ended so soon. Those who were
attained outstanding results were recruited into the school swimming team.
Undoubtedly, the Swimming Gala had been well-recieved by the spectators,
swimmers, staff and parents alike.
