1955-1974
1957-
The Forst Green and White School Magazine was published. The Green Shamrock of
France and the White Fleur-De-Lis of Ireland was the basis of that year book's
name.
1958-
Excellent results were obtained in the Royal Commonwealth Society Essay
Competition .
1960-
Despite the attack of Typhoon Mary, our College was the only centre for the
examination for the London University, External Degrees.
1962-
On 14 June, the blessing and laying of the foundation stone of our college at
Kennedy Road by Brother Nicet Joseph, Superior General of the Brothers, took
place.
1963-
In October. Governor Sir Robert Brown Black officiated the main block and the
Li Shek Pang Hall.
1965-
To celebrate the 90th Anniversary of our school, the old boys held an
anniversary dinner. Thankgiving Services, Ball Games and school exhibition were
organised by the school.
1967-
An open was held on 15 December.
1968-
With a view to meeting with the growing demand for places in the school, the
primary section had to be transferred to an independent establishment at Wood
Road. It was officialy opened on 17 December.
1969-
The First Green & White Ball was held.
1970-
A bazzar was held.
1971-
St. Joseph's Quiz team won the Championship of the TVB Quiz Program "On Your
Marks". We went through 3 Elimation Rounds before beating DZGS and QC in the
final.
1972-
On 8 January, an open day took place with Sor Albert Rodgrigues conducting the
ribbon-cutting ceremony. 32 Clubs has their stalls in both halls with the best
stall award given to the Catholic Students Services Club.
1974-
The first swinming glag was held.
