 (Doubtlessly Under Construction)

Three years.

Three years might be a short period of time, for most people, including half of me. Everything Will Flow. Close your eyes, as quick as a wink, it is three years.

Three years might be a long period of time, as long as the total time you walked since you were bore, for my another half. Three years ago, or "once upon a time", Green and White Online was founded by Michael Chim. After three years of technology advancement and interface development, Green and White Online has become an important and informative portal site of many Josephians, not only in the school but also all over the world.

Three years might be longer than the total time you have slept. In fact, the Internet is very fast - when you are clicking through the pages, you may only scan each one for 3 to 5 seconds and then just click away. Yet, the characters shown on the screen are not merely characters. The photos and pictures displayed on the screen are not simply photos and pictures. Take a deeper look. You can see three years of efforts and devotion of Josephians, concealed inside every bit of the characters and every pixel of the photos and pictures. Your 3 seconds of glancing bears witness to 3 years of effort and devotion. 3 years of effort and devotion.

Three years might be longer than the total time you have breathe. Like many other proficient Internet users, I began using the Internet three years ago. The first site I went to deliberately was our homepage - Green and White Online. It was fresh - a marvelous marble-textured caption and a scrolling information column. At that time, I could hardly imagine that the school magazine could be compressed into a couple of files 'of no paper'. Although the site was pretty interesting, on the other hand, the Internet was no fun to me. I used the Internet to develop programs, plus to download latest programs. Surprisingly lackluster, I hardly ever used the Internet for aimless meandering or time-consuming games... and soon I ran out of interest in the Internet. What's so funny about reading numerous tons of meaningless and unrelated data? What's so funny to be a passive Internet user? And so I started writing homepages two years ago. Yes, only two years, and I am pretty lack of experiences, I only know Photoshop, Illustrator, Paint Shop Pro, Frontpage, InterDev, 3D Studio Max, domain management, etc. Don't think that it's impossible. Computers nowadays are designed for amateurs, and that's why the programs will also work for amateurs.

Three years is a long period of time - anything is possible. Some day you may be the webmaster of this website. Some day you may be the master of the net. Firstly have faith, and develop your own world, in three years.
