Entering into the new millennium, the Web Publishing Board presents our latest creation--- the newest version of our
web page, the Green and White Online.
As a committee member of the Web Publishing Board for the past 2 years, I had been fortunate enough to witness the great improvements of both the Green and White Online and our Board. My brother Eric Leung and some of his classmates founded the website in 1996 and it started out as a small scale website. Now it has grown to include a contact list, the Virtual Campus Tour, a school forum etc.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank some people who have inspired and taught me so much. Firstly, my talented brother Eric, who has opened my eyes to the world of the internet, teaching me the necessary knowledge and encouraging me to try out my amateur skills at a young age when I was still in Primary Six. Under his patience and super class guidance, I won the 1st runners up at the 1997-98 SJC internal webpage design competition. I have also made lifelong friendships with people in the Web Publishing Board and I thank them from my heart, for they have treated me so nicely and made me feel so at home. Leo Mak had been such a superb leader, tolerating our mistakes and still encouraging us to try. Also, Patrick, with whom after I have been working for 3 years, had developed a brotherly bond with me. I hope our friendship will last forever. Last but not least, Sidney, who has shown such incredible improvements in his computer knowledge.
Finally, let me assure that we will work hard to strive for a better future for our homepage and keep an incomplacent attitude when handling the Green and White Online. I promise not to disappoint all of you and maintain our unremitting efforts to improve ourselves all the time. Thank you.
