In order to foster communications among parents, teachers, a Parent-Child Day Camp was organized on 20th November, 1999 at the Lei Yue Mun Park. This year, over seventy families took part in the event.
Before the briefing on the programme, our principal, Reverend Brother Thomas welcomed the parents and
students warmly.
By 1:15pm, everyone was prepared to depart for the Lei Yue Mun Park and our four coaches were already stationed outside the school entrance.
We arrived at the Lei Yue Mun Park at around 2:00pm and immediately the event kicked off with a "Mini Sports Meet". The
response was overwhelming. Both parents and students
demonstrated a strong sense of gamesmanships and the winners were presented with exquisite
prizes. Happy faces could be found virtually everywhere and the whole place was filled with tremendous joy and excitement!
Shortly after the parent-child games, the barbeque took place in the BBQ site near to the games field. More than 20
stoves were reserved. Although there was a bit of trouble in
igniting the coals, everyone was in good appetite such that extra food and coals had to be
replenished. After a series of entertaining and meaningful activities, the event finished at around 6:30pm
The event was undoubtedly a success and it was believed that a closer rapport was
developed amongst our students, teachers and parents as a whole.
On behalf of the PTA, we would take this opportunity to express our appreciations to the organizing committee, our principal Bro. Thomas, the chairperson Mrs. Lily NG and Mr. LP Wong, (managing director of the Kwoon Chung Motors. Co. Ltd.) for their
zealous supports.
Finally sincere thanks to all parents and teachers for without your unfailing support the success would only be a fantasy.
