Our Form 1 students enjoyed a wonderful time when they participated in the Games Week, which was organized by Students' Union for the fourth time. From 19th to 21st, together with a special trip on 27th, all functions were closely coordinated.

As in the previous years, the first game held on 19th was BINGO. The game opened to our SU Junior Committee members, Junior Counselors and Form One students. Several teachers came in support of this event by drawing numbers from the boxes. Eyes fixed, concentrating on the chalkboard, all participants waited enthusiastically as the announcements of the numbers rolled out. No one was willing to afford to miss a single lucky number.

School orienteering was the game for Day 2. Twenty games were set up in the Halls for the students to play. They were divided into groups according to their classes and were to collect points from the games or tasks they could completely in half an hour's time. Since time was precious in this game, once the students understood the instructions of the game, they dashed to different games hunting for points for their classes. The students enjoyed the games much.. Even some late-coming students were eager to join the game. They buzzed around getting the score sheets and completing the most numbers of games they could. The most welcomed game was called "Mini-bowling Game". Students had only three chances to knock down 10 empty plastic bottles with tennis balls in their hands. Screams and cheers could be clearly heard at every corner of the hall.

On Day 3, October 22, CLUEDO and various games were played. From the word, CLUEDO, we can say that it is "clue and do". The game was that some clues were given to the students and they would think creatively with the clues and act out a play. The junior committee of the Students' Union first demonstrated the game and performed an interesting show that the students enjoyed much. Encouraged by the committees' performance, the students did not hesitate to show their talent and creativity. Several enjoyable plays were performed and the students had a fun time in acting.

The last event was a visit to the Hong Kong Science Museum. More than two hundred students joined the visit. The visit provided a meaningful way of relaxation for the students, as the students could learn more about science through the exhibits. The students had a fantastic time in the visit and had much fun with their friends. The visit ended at 5pm in the afternoon and the students left school with many wonderful memories.

With full support from teachers and students, the Games Week 99' was a success and fulfilled its aim to provide a chance for students to learn more about the school and to have fun.
