"I can hardly move my legs, but still I am contented for finishing my duty," a walker reported, smiling, "and I am sure I will participate this meaningful event next year."

As the representative of the Interact Club, the organizer of Green & White Walkathon, I am pleased to inform you that, the function was successfully held on Saturday, 6 November 1999. As in previous years, the fund raised was used to help the development of our school. It also covered the expense on the publication of the school magazine, Gazette's, and the 125th anniversary Open Day.

After the registration in early morning, an encouraging speech was made by our principal, Rev. Brother Thomas. An opening ceremony, with the fine ribbon cuts by our principal and teachers, signaled the beginning of this annual event. Then the kind-hearted walkers rushed out of the entrance and started their journey.

We needed to go along Wan Chai Gap Road and then went round the Aberdeen Reservoir.

The weather on that day was really perfect; and so the 800 walkers jogged joyfully and enthusiastically on the way.

No matter how steep the gap road and how long the journey was, nobody could deny that Walkathon '99 has become one of the most successful school functions throughout this academic year.

In my opinion, the "Gospel" for all the students should be a holiday entitled in reinforcement of their spiritual power consumed.
